Burratina Pugliese

Burratina is crafted from a delicate outer layer of stringy curd, similar to ‘fiordilatte,’ and filled with a rich blend of cream and small mozzarella pieces known as ‘lucini.’ When in season, the cheese is wrapped in large, aromatic leaves from the ‘vizzo’ plant, infusing it with a distinct fragrance that enhances the overall flavour.
