Our preferred freight carrier for non-perishable products is Australia Post. The estimated delivery time for Sydney and surrounding suburbs is 2-3 business days.
Once your order has been processed, the tracking identification code will be emailed to you directly. It is your responsibility to track your shipment online.
Gourmet Life will ensure your goods are delivered within a timely manner. We attempt to ship within 2 – 3 business days. Due to a huge selection sometimes items may go out of stock. We will attempt to contact you as soon as possible regarding your amended order.
Unless otherwise agreed by us, we will deliver your products to the address indicated on your order confirmation.
If your items are valued over $100 it is advised that you request from us "Extra Cover Insurance" at an additional small cost to you (a service charged by weight and offered by Australia Post) which we are happy to facilitate on your behalf that covers any damage caused by Australia Post during transit. Any items damaged by Australia Post that is not covered by "Extra Cover" will be dealt with on a case by case basis at our discretion.
Non-perishable Orders: A flat rate fee of $19 is added on to all standard orders for Sydney and surrounding suburbs. If you live outside the metro area, additional fees may be applied to your order. Our friendly Gourmet Life Staff will contact you if your freight charges are more than the flat fee. If you wish, prior to placing your order, please feel free to contact our staff for an estimate.
Perishable Orders: Specialty products that require refrigeration during shipment - like caviar, truffles, cheese and some anchovies – are currently only shipping via temperature controlled courier service (Cool cartons used for Sydney metro: please allow 2-4 business days)
Interstate orders for perishable products please note: We use Toll to ship your products and pick up from Toll is from the nearest airport to your address. Toll do not deliver door to door. we will contact you to confirm the courier price. When purchasing caviar, truffles, cheese or other specialty items for shipment, you must acknowledge delivery will be signed for and put into a fridge immediately upon receipt.
In-Store Pick Up: When placing an order, there is a “Pick Up from Store” option. If selected, it is your responsibility to notify Gourmet Life regarding preferred pick up date and time.
