Pastificio Fratelli Setaro Pappardelle is a premium artisan pasta produced in Torre Annunziata, near Naples, using traditional methods that have distinguished the Setaro family since 1939. Crafted from high-quality Italian durum wheat semolina, the pasta is bronze-die extruded and slowly air-dried, creating a rough, porous surface that allows sauces to cling beautifully while delivering an exceptional al dente texture.

Pappardelle is one of Italy's most celebrated ribbon pastas, characterised by its broad, flat strands. Setaro's 1kg format features generous ribbons designed to showcase rich and hearty sauces, making it a favourite for traditional ragùs, wild mushroom dishes, slow-cooked meats, and robust tomato-based preparations. The wide surface area captures sauce exceptionally well, ensuring full flavour in every bite.

Like all Setaro pasta, the pappardelle is produced using bronze dies (trafila al bronzo), which give the pasta its distinctive rough texture.
